Artist Bio
James Tucker is a fourth-generation North Carolina native whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with raw, unfiltered vocals rooted in traditional Country and Americana. Drawing from a life lived with grit and purpose—from his service in the U.S. Army to his upbringing on a farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains—James crafts songs that are as authentic as they are emotionally resonant.
His early releases quickly caught the attention of major country music outlets like Whiskey Riff, Country Central, and Country Chord, with standout tracks such as “Man I Am,” “Stay Home Tonight,” and “Those Days” featured across their platforms and playlists. These songs reflect not just personal experiences, but a broader narrative of hard work, resilience, and southern soul.
Over the past seven years, James has steadily built his place in the independent country scene, sharing the stage with rising stars like Dylan Gossett, Muscadine Bloodline, Colby Acuff, Kolby Cooper, and more. His recent performance with OurVinyl Sessions further showcases the promise and power of his live presence, offering fans a stripped-down glimpse into the heart of his music.
Currently, James is in the studio working on a new EP slated for release in late 2025. With momentum building and a growing fanbase behind him, James Tucker is proving himself to be a compelling voice in modern country music—one that stays true to his roots while forging a sound all his own. Stay tuned.
